Manufacturing Overview

Xunbanglong operates a 15,000-square-meter precision manufacturing facility in Shenzhen, China, housing dedicated CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly cells. We provide custom-to-print mechanical components for industrial original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Our production floor integrates automated material loading, multi-axis machining centers, and a temperature-controlled metrology laboratory to maintain batch-to-batch dimensional stability.

Plant Footprint: 15,000 m² production and assembly area.

Engineering Staff: 28 toolmakers and DFM (Design for Manufacturing) mechanical engineers.

Annual Output: Over 1.2 million precision metal and plastic components shipped globally.

Quality Management System: ISO 9001:2015 certified (Certificate No. available upon request).

Product Development & R&D

Every production order undergoes a structured DFM review before G-code generation to verify geometric feasibility and material suitability.

CAD/CAM Compatibility: Direct processing of STEP, IGES, SolidWorks (.sldprt), and Parasolid (.x_t) files via Mastercam and Siemens NX.

Prototyping Lead Time: Quick-turn CNC prototypes delivered within 3 to 5 business days upon drawing confirmation.

DFM Feedback Protocol: Engineering reports generated within 24 hours to highlight undercuts, thin walls, draft angles, and potential tool clearance risks prior to tool path programming.

Production Capabilities & Technical Parameters

We accommodate complex geometries and difficult-to-machine engineering alloys under controlled machining tolerances.

Achievable Dimensional Tolerances: Standard milling ± 0.01 mm; high-precision milling up to ± 0.005 mm.

Supported Materials:

  • Metals: Aluminum (6061-T6, 7075-T6, 5052), Stainless Steel (304, 316L, 17-4PH), Carbon Steel (1045, 4140), Brass, Copper, Grade 5 Titanium.
  • Engineering Plastics: POM (Delrin), PEEK, PTFE, Nylon, ABS, Polycarbonate (PC).

Machining Envelope:

  • CNC Milling: Up to 1500 × 800 × 600 mm.
  • CNC Turning: Up to dia. 400 × 1000 mm.

Manufacturing Process Routing

Our shop floor routing follows a standardized, closed-loop workflow to track component lineage and minimize operational variance:

01/

Incoming Material Verification: Spectrometer material composition check and ultrasonic testing for internal inclusion detection.

02/

Raw Material Preparation: High-speed automatic saw cutting and CNC blank facing.

03/

Primary & Secondary Machining: Multi-axis roughing, stress-relief heat treatment (when specified), and finish contouring.

04/

Deburring & Surface Treatment: Manual precision deburring followed by chemical passivation, anodizing, or powder coating as specified in drawing notes.

05/

Final Quality Audit: CMM dimensional scanning and visual surface inspection against approved client drawings.

06/

Export Packaging: VCI anti-rust wrapping and shock-absorbing crate packing.

Quality Control & Inspection Equipment

Quality verification is integrated into every production milestone rather than left to final sorting. The quality department operates independently from the production scheduling team.

Inspection Instrumentation:

  • Hexagon Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
  • Keyence optical image dimension measurement systems
  • Digital height gauges, thread plug gauges, and micro-meters.

Traceability: Heat number tracking for raw metal blocks; individual inspection sheets and Material Test Reports (MTRs) archived digitally for a minimum of 5 years.

Inspection Checkpoints: 100% First-Article Inspection (FAI) for new part setups, in-process SPC (Statistical Process Control) every 50 parts, and AQL 1.0/2.5 final sampling before shipping.

Production Capacity & Standard Lead Times

We balance multi-shift manufacturing capacity with structured scheduling to meet target delivery schedules.

Operating Schedule

3 shifts daily, with 24/7 automated machining cells for high-volume repeat runs.

OEE Control

Maintained above 85% via scheduled preventive maintenance programs.

Standard Lead Times

CNC Prototypes (1–10 pcs): 5 to 7 business days.
Batch Production (100–5,000 pcs): 15 to 25 business days (subject to material availability and finishing requirements).

Packaging & Order Fulfillment

Protecting machined surfaces during international transit is managed through engineered packaging standards.

Packaging Specifications: VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) anti-rust polyethylene bags, custom high-density EPE foam cutouts, and ISPM 15 compliant heat-treated fumigated wooden crates.

Logistics Channels: Express air freight (DHL/FedEx/UPS) for prototypes; ocean freight (FOB/CIF container loading) from Shenzhen/Guangzhou ports for bulk orders.

OEM & ODM Manufacturing Support

We protect client intellectual property and maintain transparent communication channels throughout project execution.

IP Security: Bilateral Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) executed prior to drawing exchange; isolated CAD networks with restricted data export access.

Project Management: Designated project engineers assigned to provide weekly progress logs and verification photo/video documentation upon request.

Manufacturing FAQ

Q: What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?

A: We have no strict MOQ for CNC prototyping. For batch production, order quantities starting from 10 pieces are accepted, though unit costs optimize at volumes exceeding 100 pieces.

Q: Who retains ownership of custom tooling and fixtures?

A: The client retains 100% ownership of all custom molds, stamping dies, and dedicated fixtures. Tooling is stored securely and is never utilized for third-party projects.

Q: How are non-conforming parts handled if discovered upon receipt?

A: If a dimensional or quality deviation is verified, an 8D Corrective Action Report is submitted within 24 hours. Non-conforming lots are reworked or remanufactured at our expense with expedited replacement shipping.

Q: Can you accommodate third-party on-site inspections?

A: Yes. We routinely host independent third-party inspectors (e.g., SGS, TÜV, Bureau Veritas) designated by overseas buyers prior to final balance payment.
